Glazing 101

Time/Day: 10am-12pm Saturday

Cost: £55

This course will guide you through the foundations of glazing Biscware and provide you with the skills to develop your practice.

There will be a max 6 students in the class so lots of 1:1 tuition. Some pottery experience required!

This is perfect for absolute beginners who require basic knowledge to glaze their pieces

This include all tuition, clay, tools, materials & refreshments inc biscuits 😉

Course Requirements:

• Bisc fired pieces from a previous course

• Note: We only provide stoneware glazes- so you must only bring stoneware pots. Anything fired outside of the studio must be accompanied by the clay supplier specifications.

Course includes:

• Studio set-up & safety

• Learn about clay, tools & equipment

• Learn basic glaze mixing, glazing application and decorating techniques

• Practical fun

• Firing by Romud

Pieces will be ready for collection within 3-4 weeks

Refund Policy

This course must be booked and paid in full.

These sessions are non-refundable however you can transfer to another guest.

If for any reason the tutor is unable to run the course you will be refunded in full.
